2008 League Information
General Registration Information

  • Players must be 5 years old by April 30, 2008 to participate.
  • Rookie 5, Rookie 6, Rookie 7 are Tee Ball divisions.
  • Players must live within the Libertyville Little League boundaries. (see map)
  • Non-residents (including residents of Green Oaks) will be assessed a $25 non-resident fee.
  • Opening Day is April 19th. Practices will begin in early April. The season will end around July 1st.


Little League Divisions

The player's age as of April 30, 2008 will be used to determine the division
your child will play in. This is a Little League Charter Rule.
Rookie 5 5 year olds
Rookie 6 6 year olds
Rookie 7 7 year olds
A 8 year olds
AA 9 year olds
AAA 10 year olds
Varsity 11 & 12 year olds not in Majors
Majors 11 & 12 year olds (players try out and are drafted in this division)
Juniors 13 & 14 year olds
Seniors 15 - 18 year olds (15-18 year olds who are not on a High School Varsity squad)
Challengers Ages 6 - 21 who have special needs
